Darrell was raised on a dairy, hog, and beef farm located in southwest Wisconsin. He started farming in 1975, married his wife in 1976, and raised three children. Together they grew the family farm from 183 acres to include additional crop acres via purchasing and renting. They also owned and operated a trucking company as well as an excavating & culvert company. All was accomplished by working together as a family on the family farm.

Darrell also worked for Monsanto as a seed salesman and BigIron as an equipment sales agent.

Darrell has 13 years of experience in Ag Real Estate working with sellers and buyers finding the property that best works for them.
