Seller Story
Offering 48 Bred Heifers out Northeast Nebraska. Each group is broke down by calving window and breeding. Rohde's have been developing and breeding heifers for 20+ years with cow longevity as a top priority. From years of experience we have seen our heifers will calve with ease while keeping condition after calving with very little help. Many of these females are home raised with a handful selected as replacements from reputable ranches such as Paxton Ranch (Stapleton, NE) and Ryan Ranch (Overton, NE) last winter. Many of the home raised females are from AI Sires - SAV President, Temaha Tahoe, and Deer Valley Growth Fund on the angus side. As for Simmental genetics they tie back to WS Proclamation, Hooks Eagle, and TJ Franchise. All heifers have received pre breeding shots in April, and were ultra sounded by DVM Josh Buetler of Pender Vet Clinic. Received Vision 7, Scour Guard, poured and wormed in October. These females have been developed properly on a high roughage, replacement heifer ration since they were calves. Been running on cornstalks and rye cover crop since November. We have a specialized mineral we use for our breeding stock from Midwest Livestock for optimal nutrition for our herd. A breeder mineral with Rumensin for health and calf development.
