10) Black Bred Heifers (BID PER HEAD), Qty 10 Head, Heldt Cattle Has An Outstanding Set Of Bred Heifers On Offer. These Are Due February 18th For 60 Days (bull Was Pulled). The Heifers Were A.I. Bred On May 12th To Tehama Tahoe, And Then Cleaned Up With Black Angus Sons Of In Focus For 60 Days. There Are 20 Heifers Selling In 2 Lots (10 In This Lot). We Will Be Selling A Gate Cut Of Like Kind And Size All Black Heifers From A Group Of Nearly 500. The A.I. Conception Is 65%, But They Are Selling As Bred Within The 60 Day Window. You Should Expect A High Percentage To Calve To Tahoe On Or Up To 2 Weeks Before The February 18th Due Date. Heldt's Will Bring In A Few Extra Heifers And Allow You To Hold 1 Back If There Is Something In The Group That Is Unsatisfactory. This Is A Very High End Set Of Bred Heifers, With 26 Years Of A.I. Genetics Behind Them. They Are 70% Home Raised And Have Been On A Purina Mineral Program And A Complete Vaccination Program. In The Spring They Were Given A VL5 + 6, On 8-15 They Had Another VL5 + 6 And Were Poured With Clean-Up, On 10-10 They Were Poured With Ivomec. These Heifers Are Developed And Bred At The Heldt's With Meticulous Management. They Have Been Sorted Down From Much Larger Groups For Type And Disposition.
