Seller Story
Two Dot Land and Livestock is a 6th generation ranch located on the windy plains of central Montana, south of Harlowton. We’ve been involved with Pharo Cattle Company for over 18 years. In addition to our commercial cattle, we are also a PCC Cooperative Producer, producing bulls and registered females, and are humbled and work hard to be the forage bull developer for PCC’s Montana sale. Managed holistically for almost 40 years with a stocking rate 50% above our regional peers, our cow-herd works for a living, calving on their own on perennial pasture. We calve our heifers with our mature cows with no night-checks. Our moderate framed, easy fleshing cows and heifers are happy to graze through the winter with minimal to zero energy and protein supplementation and we’ve averaged approximately 7 full days of hay-feeding per winter the past several years while our county's norm is 100 plus days.Disclaimer
