Seller Story
Agape Cattle Co. has been a cooperative producer for Pharo Cattle Co. for 12 years specializing in producing Hereford cattle. The ranch itself is 1352ac of native grass and was founded in 1836. It resides in central Texas west of I-35 and is divided between moisture and little moisture. Agape Cattle run a management intense grazing rotation that fits in excellent with the philosophies of PCC. The Pharo Cattle Philosophy is focused on producing cows that work for the environment, low maintenance - low input cows. While everyone else is focused on increasing pounds per cow (bragging rights), Pharo Cattle Company has always been focused on increasing pounds per acre (profit). Most cow-calf producers struggle to make a decent living because they are focused on the wrong thing. It is much more profitable to produce cows that fit your environment than it is to artificially change your environment with expensive inputs to fit your cows. A cow should support the ranch – instead of being supported by the ranch!Disclaimer
