Jim Sourced And Then Went To 3 Different Ranches Where He Sorted The Heifers That He Wanted To Develop. The Rickenbach Family Cattle Ranch (Juniper Cattle Company, LLC) In Oelrichs, SD Who Uses Beckton And Mushrush Genetics. The Boardman Ranch In Westen, WY Who Uses Ludvigson, Buffalo Creek, And Some Beckton Genetics. Chris Russel In Broken Bow, NE Who Uses Ford Red Angus Genetics. All Heifers Were Born In March And April Of 2021. After Purchasing These Heifers In January 2022, They Were Brought Home And Developed On A High Roughage Diet That They Gained A 1.5#/day. Set Up On A 14-day CIDR Protocol And Were Bred On May 25th For One Day With A Due Date Of March 4th. All Heifers Are AI’ed Safe To Bieber Atomic. The Heifers Have Been On A Complete Respiratory Shot Protocol, Received Preg Guard Shot, All Females Have A Legible Bangs Vaccination Tag, And Have Been On A Complete Mineral Program. The former Nebraska Cattlemen president and current director Nebraska Beef cousin has also been developing, breeding, and selling bred heifers for 45 years. In those 45 years he has sourced heifers from many outstanding ranches in SD, WY, NE, MT. For the past 6 years Jim has grown very fond of breeding Bieber Atomic to his red angus bred heifers. Bieber Atomic is a phenomenal female producer and maternal traits. Atomic is a very balanced proven bull, and Jim has taken to him for the calving ease and the vigor at birth.Disclaimer
