These Cows Are In Great Condition, Good Disposition, With Excellent Utters And Solid Feet And Legs. They Are Native To The Eastern High-plains And Acclimated To The Harsh Environment. Each Cow Raised A Healthy 550-625 Wt. Calf At Weaning This Fall. They Are Bred To Top-end Angus Bulls From Hornung Angus And Lee Cattle Co. Of Colorado. Preg-checked By Lora Bledsoe With An Expected Calving Date Of 3/15/25 For 60 Days. Seller Story
The Bijou Creek Ranch goes back 3 generations in the high plains near Simla Colorado. The Benjamin brothers run a commercial Angus cowherd and yearlings. Their focus is on developing a moderate frame female that is easy fleshing, low maintenance, quiet disposition and good mothering ability. They invest in top-end Angus bulls from the likes of Hornung Angus and Lee Cattle Co. of Colorado. They market feeder calves and yearlings each summer/fall and have several repeat buyers.
