Seller Story
For over 60 years, Jorgensen Land & Cattle Partnership has bred some of the best genetics in the Angus breed. Today we are recognized as the largest seedstock producer in America, merchandising over 4,500 bulls per year. Our network of cooperator herds has a very strong Jorgensen influence in their cow herds, and we are proud to help facilitate a bangs vaccinated, genotyped replacement heifer sale with a selection of females from these herds. All offered heifers will have GEPD’s produced by the Ideal Beef Evaluation and have been selected and lotted through the Ideal Beef GeneticsTM consulting process. This aids in uniform performance or parentage in the lots offered, a one of a kind offering that won’t be found in other commercial replacement heifer sales. Ede Breitmeier will be offering an outstanding, uniform group of 51 Black Angus open replacement heifers. The Breitmeier Family homesteaded 14 miles south of Harlem, MT in 1912. Since 1981 when Ede started raising registered Angus, she has always focused on choosing the best possible sires to produce rancher practical females. In 2002 Ede sold an interest in her Baldridge Guru 427 bull to Jorgensen Land & Cattle. In turn she purchased two top bulls out of their sale. E7 Angus became a cooperator herd in 2011 and has been heavily influenced from exclusive Jorgensen Land and Cattle genetics ever since. The females that get to be part of the E7 herd are strictly culled on the ability to calve unassisted, have good dispositions, and great mothering ability with enough milk to raise a big calf. These females were hauled down to Bartels Feedyard in Winner, SD to be developed due to lack of feed resources in Montana. The heifers are up to date on shots. Brandin- Inforce 3 Nasalgen, One Shot BVD, Ultrabac 7, Dectromax Injectible; Preconditioning- One Shot BVD, Inforce 3 Nasalgen, Ultrabac 7 with Somnus. All heifers were bangs vaccinated. Please Contact Ede with any questions. To view the cattle, and for shipping arrangements within 5-7 days of the sale Please Contact Jason Bartels.Disclaimer
