Seller Story

Bernie Poore was an innovator in farm machinery beginning his career with John Deere on the engineering team in the early 1970’s. Bernie and his team were responsible for some of the most important innovations in technology and farm machinery that are still being used to this very day. The John Deere 7400 has special technology in the transmission system that Bernie and his team developed and is close to Bernie’s heart. In 1995, Bernie purchased the first John Deere 7400 off the production line. Today, Bernie is freeing up the wonderful tractor he purchased by auction through his local dealership, AgriVision Equipment with the proceeds going to support Iowa FFA chapters and AFA (Agriculture Future Of America).
