Seller Story
Jason is a fifth generation farmer/rancher on their NW Missouri operation. His family has always run cattle and Jason began managerial responsibilities in 2011. We have been exclusively using Pharo genetics since 2017. We strive to produce a moderate framed female that is an easy keeper and works for us, in our environment with minimal external inputs. We do offer Free Choice Enterprises mineral year round as well as Apple Cider Vinegar. We desire to graze as many days of the year as possible, only supplementing with local hay as the weather dictates. We have found that around 1,100 pound mature weight is ideal for us, giving us the most profit per acre. Our pastures are primarily cool season grasses and legumes with some warm season grasses creeping in every year with more intensively managed grazing. Our cattle are broke to single wire hot wire, including poly wire, and are used to daily moves. They have a calm temperament and are used to being handled on foot, UTV, ATV, and pick-up.Disclaimer
