These Steers Are Backed By A Reputation Cowherd And Bulls From The Likes Of The Hoffman Ranch, Cox Angus, Nutter Angus & Dal Porto Angus. These Calves Will Be Sorted For The Top-end, Have Had All Their Spring Shots, Will Be Pre-conditioned And Ready For Shipment By Oct. 15th - 20th. A Sample Wt. Was Taken On Aug 27th At 485# With An Estimated Base At 555# At Shipping Time. This Will Be A Total Wt. Of 46,620 Lbs For The Load. Seller Story
Ty & Katie Keller are 5th generation ranchers and striking it out on their own in the Northern Sandhills. They are very focused on using good quality AI bulls to add more growth & performance to their calf crop as Katie runs a ABS service out of the ranch. Their cattle are very calm as the family and kids interact with the cattle every week by horse, atv and on foot. The steer calves were AI'd to the Ramsey Angus bull and cleaned up with Hoffman Ranch Angus bulls. They have focused on developing a maternal powerhouse cow-base with the Angus - Hereford cross to incorporate hybrid-vigor, more shape and bone to their feeder calves.Kyle & Kari Haake of the Lazy KH Ranch are 4th generation running a Angus, Red Angus & Baldy Cross cowherd in the heart of the Sandhills near Thedford, NE. They have an intense AI program for their replacement heifers and use top-end bulls from the likes of Cox, Nutter, Hoffman & Dal Porto Angus.
