Blk-Baldy Coming 10 YO Bred Cows (BID PER HEAD), Qty 10 Head, Actual Weight: 1225-1325 Lbs, The Borton's Have Been Ranching In The Southern Black Hills And On A Lease In The Panhandle Of Nebraska For Over 20 Years. Due To The On Going Drought And Lack Of Feedstuffs They Have Decided To Liquidate The Cowherd. Cory And Blue's Passion For The Cattle Business Challenged Them To Find The Most Versatile Combination Of Genetics To Withstand The Environment And Provide Maximum Performance. Their Pick Was A True Hereford-Angus F1 Cross. This Combination Has Flourished For Them As They Built A Strong Base Of Blk- Baldy And Brockle Mother Cows That Are Easy Fleshing, Sound Footed, With The Added Heterosis To Create Strong Healthy Calves That Wean Off At 575-600 Lbs Each Year. In More Recent Years They Have Begun To Develop Their Own F1 Cross With Some Purebred Angus Cows Bred To Hereford Bulls. Currently All The Cows Are Bred To Performance Angus Bulls From Schaak Angus Of SD And Webo Angus Of Lusk, WY With A Calving Date Of 4/01/22 For 60 Days. This Will Be A GATE Cut Of 10 And Will Provide An Option To Buy Additional Blk Cows Of Like Age Groups To Fill A Pot.
