Seller Story
Three Cedars Farms is a purebred Simmental and SimAngus business located in the rolling hills of central Missouri. They have been producing quality purebred seedstock since 1996 with an emphasis on age-advantaged bulls for the commercial industry. At weaning, the bulls are developed on pasture along with a high fiber low starch supplement with a target gain of 3-3.5lb/day by yearling age. From yearling to sale time they remain on pastures where they have to exercise to get feed & water, toughening them up for durability as breeding bulls. The bulls are highly functional, docile, heavy boned with a lot of performance from birth to yearling. We heavily utilize top genetics via AI & embryo transplant to produce top quality seedstock. The lineup go back to Lassle’s LRS MS Dakota 559R donor cow who is the dam of LRS Turning Point. “559R” is the current #3 dam in progeny registrations in the Simmental breed. All bulls will pass their Breeding Soundness Exam. All females received Ultrabac 7, Synanthic, Spirovac VLG, and are BANGS vaccinated. They have a breeding range from 11-18-21 to 2-15-22. Estimated calving window is Aug 28th to Nov. 15th 2022. All females were ultra sounded on 2-10-2022. In March all females will be fetal sexed. DVM is William Chamberlain with Benton County Vet Clinic. In each lot description they will have specific notes for each animal.
