Seller Story

Please view their complete bull catalog in the additional resources for specific details on the offering! D&D Cattle originated from Dan and his father Duane Braesch when they began raising commercial cows over 50 years ago in the rolling hills of Eastern Nebraska. In the past 25 years Dan, his wife Marilee, and their daughters Michaela and Courtney have been selling registered Red Angus and Angus bulls. For over 35 years they have been collecting whole herd data - calving ease, maternal characteristics, docility and carcass merit are all closely analyzed. With an intensive AI program, their focus is on providing sound, functional bulls that are moderate in frame, with maternal characteristics along with performance all in one package, fitting every rancher's needs. Their cowherd goes back to some of the great herds in the country including Jindra Angus, Poss Angus, RA Brown Angus, Prairie Pride, Ludvigson's and Bieber Red Angus. Cattle feeders recognize the value in D&D Cattle as they have had several customers finished cattle perform with an avg daily gain of 4.5 lbs + a feed conversion of 5.20+ per day and 90% choice. From weaning time the bulls are slowly developed on a low energy diet, protein, mineral and free choice grass hay. The bulls have been vaccinated with 7-way Vibrio-Lepto Vira-Shield 6, poured, fertility tested along with scrotal measurements by DVM Pat Maline of Redbarn Vet Clinic. D&D Cattle would like to welcome you to their Annual Bull Sale!
