Seller Story
Dear Customers and friends, Welcome to our 1st annual angus bull sale! As a lot of you may know, we have recently dispersed our entire Holstein milking operation. In turn, had the opportunity to acquire and purchase one of the most profound angus operations in Sunburst and Oilmont Montana from T D L Angus! These cows are a set of moderate framed females with goals to wean off a 600-700 pound calf. We are very excited about this bull offering and invite you to stop by prior to sale day. Quality beef is in great demand. With 55+ years of AI work on our group of cows we feel our bulls will have something for your operation. Every one of our bulls has been DNA tested and processed by the American Angus Association to ensure correct and accurate data. Also all of them have been 50k tested. This is a tool used to ensure precise EPD’s. Our philosophy of what makes a good cow: Phenotype, feet, fertility, calving ease, udder quality and docility. We take that cow and breed her to a good carcass and growth bull that hopefully transmits the top characteristics that we all desire. You’ll see throughout our bull offering the years of hard work and dedication transferred over to these cattle. The bulls did not receive any creep in the pasture and we have let the cow and the grass feed these bulls until weaning. Since weaning we have slowly worked up to a 46 megacalorie diet and have fed a high forage diet. We are committed to raising the highest quality Angus cattle for our customers. We hope with our genetics we help you improve your herd as well. The Steffens Terms and conditions: Cattle will sell under the suggested Terms and Conditions of the American Angus Association (http://www.angus.org/Pub/suggested_sale_terms.pdf) Herd Health and Registrations: All vaccinations required are given to the bulls. They will all be semen tested, and be guaranteed breeders. All bulls come with a registered bull copy. Delivery: Free delivery on bulls selling $3,700 or more within a 100 mile radius, after 100 miles we will do our best to accommodate you at cost. When delivering bulls, we are willing to deliver to a central location. Bulls can stay free of charge on our feed program until April 15. After April 15 a $2.50 boarding charge will be assessed. Retaining Interest: Purchaser will receive full possession and semen rights. Volume Discount: The purchase of 2 or more bulls will earn a $100 discount per bull if the purchased price per bull exceeds $4,100.
